CMP Europe Division, Corporation leading provider of Marine Products and Industrial solutions located in Casella – Genova – Italy, is looking for a Shipper & Receiver.
The Shipper/Receiver reports to and follows the instructions given by the Warehouse Manager, also conducts all duties associated with Shipping and Receiving goods in a safe and efficient manner, in particular those related to Forwarder Management, as per Company Instructions.
The Candidate, reporting to the Warehouse Manager, will be involved in the following responsibilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
➢ Complete knowledge of all products manufactured and/or sold by the Company.
➢ Knowledge of quality control processes, as they relate to Shipping/Receiving.
➢ Knowledge of the Company’s products sufficient to identify non-conforming product.
➢ Knowledge of local carriers and routings.
➢ Good understanding of computers (Visual ERP System included)
DAILY TASKS
➢ Coordinates freight forwarders in order to assure all shipments are done timely as per Customer Request.
➢ Attends to daily coordination meetings along with warehouse manager.
➢ Assists the Sales Team providing specific transport quotations when required.
➢ Collaborate with Warehouse Staff to pack and prepare Customer Orders if necessary, including “double control” on specific orders.
➢ Insures all goods are received as invoiced.
➢ Works with Quality Control to ensure all goods are received to the specification ordered.
➢ Works with Quality Control to ensure all goods shipped are to the ordered specification.
➢ Prints picking list necessary to prepare Customer Orders and other documents necessary to ship the goods (certificates of conformity, packlists, shipping documents, etc.)
➢ Ensures all shipments are packed safely, neatly, and will arrive at their destination intact and on time.
➢ Effectively manage space and material flow to meet company objectives of timely delivery of product.

➢ Promote Safe Work Practices as outlined in the Company Regulations
Requirements:
• At least 3 years of experience in the role;
• English knowledge: fluent proficiency;
• Location: Casella (Ge) – Italy
